The Pause and Probe Conversation helps individuals slow down and think more critically while interacting with AI. Designed for everyday AI users and business professionals, it provides a structured way to pause during an AI conversation, question the response, ask for clarification or alternatives, and examine assumptions before accepting or acting on what the AI provides.

Use the activity when an AI response seems convincing but deserves deeper examination, or when the task would benefit from exploring different perspectives and possibilities. Rather than treating AI as a one-question, one-answer tool, users practice probing responses, challenging assumptions, requesting evidence, and refining the conversation to develop a better-informed result.

The completed activity helps users build critical thinking, AI judgment, and more intentional conversational habits with AI.
