Time to Complete: 15–20 minutes

Purpose: Help you share how you successfully used AI, what you learned, and how others can benefit from your experience.

Why This Matters

Your story might inspire someone who’s hesitant to try AI—or help someone avoid mistakes you made. Sharing success stories turns individual learning into teamwide momentum.

Use this outline to:

• Capture a real AI win

• Reflect on what made it work

• Share tips others can reuse

• Build a repository of trusted use cases

Section 1: What Was the Situation?

Describe the original challenge or task.

• What were you trying to do?

• Why was it difficult or time-consuming?

Example: “I was spending 30 minutes each week summarizing our tickets into updates for leadership. It felt repetitive, and I often left things out.”

Your Story:

Section 2: How Did You Use AI?

Be specific about the feature and prompt.

• What did you ask AI to do?

• What was the exact prompt or instruction?

• What tool(s) were you using?

Example: “I used AI Chat to say: ‘Summarize this week’s project issues in 3 bullet points, for a non-technical stakeholder.’”

Your Story:

Section 3: What Was the Result?

What changed? Be honest—quantitative or qualitative wins are both great!

• What did you gain or save (e.g., time, clarity, confidence)?

• Did others notice or benefit?

• Did the output need revision?

Example: “I now save 20+ minutes weekly. My manager said the new summaries are clearer and more focused.”

Section 4: What Did You Learn?

Share a takeaway someone else could use.

• What made the prompt effective?

• What would you do differently next time?

• Any surprises—good or bad?

Section 5: Would You Recommend This?

Wrap it up with a clear message.

• Who should try this next?

• How would you pitch it to someone hesitant?

Example: “If you write weekly updates or project reports, try AI to get a fast first draft. Just remember to add your voice.”
