Time to Complete: 5–10 minutes per week
Purpose: Help you track how you’re using AI in your real work, what’s working well, and where to improve or scale.
Why This Matters
You’ve explored AI. You’ve tested prompts. Now it’s time to build a routine.
This tracker helps you:
Reflect on how often you use AI
Identify which tasks are becoming AI-assisted habits
Spot opportunities to refine or expand your workflow
Build confidence in using AI thoughtfully and consistently
Section 1: Weekly Usage Overview
Week Starting | # of Tasks You Used AI For | Most Common Task Type | Quick Win This Week |
Section 2: AI-Enhanced Tasks in Your Workflow
Fill this out as you go. Aim to track 3–5 tasks per week.
Task Name or Description | AI Used For (Summarize, Rewrite, Search, etc.) | Prompt You Used | Was It Effective? (Y/N/Needs Review) |
Section 3: Reflection & Improvement
Complete this at the end of the week or sprint.
Which task worked best with AI this week? Why?
What didn’t go well, and what would you try differently next time?
Any prompt(s) you’d like to save or refine for reuse?
Section 4: Skill Progress Tracker (Optional)
Check off as your AI use becomes more confident and routine.
Milestone | Date Completed | Notes |
Used AI at least once a day for 3+ days
Built a prompt I reused across 2+ tasks
Shared a successful AI prompt with a teammate
Integrated AI into a recurring workflow (e.g., ticket review)
Caught and corrected a bad output with critical thinking |
Completion Tip
Try using this tracker weekly during your regular review or sprint planning. You’ll build patterns, confidence, and a growing personal library of prompts that work.
