The AI Project Timeline Estimator helps organizations estimate how long an AI initiative may take based on the type of work involved and factors that can affect implementation time. Designed for business leaders, AI project owners, and other decision-makers, the activity considers common AI consulting projects such as custom AI agents, workflow redesign, connector configuration, AI governance, organizational adoption, and AI training, along with factors such as project complexity, data and system readiness, integrations, stakeholder involvement, testing, and approvals.
Use it during early AI planning to develop a realistic preliminary timeline, understand what may accelerate or delay the work, and set better expectations before implementation begins. This members-only AI Adoption Lab activity supports AI project planning within the Unified AI Adoption Model, particularly the Plan stage of the Strategic AI Adoption Framework (SAAF).
